ACTIVITIES & RESOURCES

The BRIDGE4U project is structured around five comprehensive and interlinked Work Packages (WPs). Each Work Package is led by a partner organization with specialized expertise and is designed to build on the outputs of the others. Together, they form a robust integration model that addresses the needs of Ukrainian refugees through guidance, training, research, communication, and evaluation.

The activities focus not only on direct support to refugees but also on building the capacity of host communities, NGOs, and local institutions to provide long-term, sustainable integration services. BRIDGE4U combines community-based approaches with innovative digital tools to ensure broad accessibility and impact across different European contexts.

Project Management & Coordination (Lead: Fifty-Fifty)

This Work Package ensures that BRIDGE4U operates smoothly and effectively throughout its 18-month duration. It covers strategic coordination, financial management, quality assurance, risk management, and internal communication among partners. A participatory management structure will allow all partners to contribute to decision-making, ensuring a shared vision and clear accountability. Regular partner meetings, progress reports, and evaluation checkpoints will keep the project on track and adaptable to changing needs.

This WP lays the foundation for targeted interventions by conducting in-depth research and mapping existing services for refugees in each participating country. Through community consultations, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis, partners will identify critical integration barriers such as language access, legal procedures, housing, and employment. These findings will inform the design of guidance materials, training programs, and the structure of the Guidance Hubs.

The third WP focuses on developing practical tools for integration. It includes the creation of multilingual guidance materials, step-by-step manuals, training modules, and a centralized digital platform. The platform will act as an accessible online hub where refugees can find resources in their language, learn about their rights, and connect with opportunities for education, work, and community participation. The digital hub will also provide practitioners with training tools and methodological guidance.

WorkPackage 004 brings the project to the ground level. Guidance Hubs will be established in selected locations to offer personalized support to refugees. These hubs will function as safe and welcoming spaces where refugees can meet trained staff, receive legal and social guidance, participate in language and vocational training, and engage in community-building activities. The hubs will collaborate closely with municipalities, NGOs, and local service providers, ensuring that refugees have clear pathways to integration and empowerment.

The final WP ensures that the project’s results are visible, impactful, and scalable. It includes communication campaigns, policy briefs, visibility actions, and the dissemination of good practices. It will also monitor and evaluate the project’s impact using both qualitative and quantitative tools, ensuring that lessons learned can inform future integration initiatives at the EU level.
